HEY THERE
Meet the Author: RJ
Hi there, my name is RJ Ermida and I am a 50 year old Canadian woman born in the spring of 1975 in a northern Ontario town. However, I have lived most of my life between Canada and Europe.
I had everything and have been 30 days from being homeless. In my 20s, I was diagnosed as Bipolar, as well as having an adjustment disorder, generalized anxiety, agoraphobia, panic attacks, among other mental health issues.
I have had a turbulent life suffering from all sorts of abuse and despite it all, I have been able to achieve many successes, as well as learn from my many failures.
Currently, I speak 3 languages proficiently and 3 others at an independent level.
Today, I am a Financial Advisor for one of the largest banks in the world and an example that you can do anything you put your mind to, no matter what is thrown your way.

ABOUT MY BOOK
A Story of Strength, Growth, and Triumph
The idea for this book began with having an overwhelming need to let go of all of my past demons. The only way I am able to process my feelings is, many times, by writing them down. So, instead of writing them in my personal journal in the hopes of letting go of all the pain I feel, I felt like I should write this book.
Through it, I hope to help others not fall in the same traps I have, as well as give them hope that anything can be achieved, when they put their mind to it.
Bipolar disorder is more than a diagnosis—it’s a journey. This bipolar disorder memoir takes you through my personal growth with bipolar, the struggles of overcoming bipolar disorder challenges, and the resilience needed to thrive. My goal is to inspire and motivate others by sharing an authentic account of my life, highlighting that success with bipolar disorder is possible. Join me in breaking the silence and embracing hope.
